Musicals and Instant Cup Noodles
Once upon a time, in a place some land 'here' not far away from 'there', which is actually nearer to 'there' than 'here' somehow, that I have no clue where 'there' is and in that case have no idea how I can say its close to 'here'.. I have been willed by supernatural forces of the unseen.. to Update!
Yea yea I know its been a super long time that I have not updated anything here but.. who cares~ (Apparently the ones that are quite bored at home and on their semester breaks or holidays or y'know that sorta stuff care) Actually I do have a ton of stuff to put on in this here blog o' mine.. but well somehow it kind of always ends up in the DRAFTS section. =P
SO lets see first up is.. Prom: The Musical!
Woo! I can say it was a really fantastic experience getting involved in all that stage performance stuff. From the auditions which regretfully I did not try out for due to certain err.. things. Then there were the endless rehearsals where I've only been to one to check out the music arrangements before the stage rehearsals. Then there's the Music Arranging and Editing for each scene (Yeah did a whole~ lot of music editing I did) and witnessing the ever developing stage set-up which never ends up until the final day of the production, and the few Stage Rehearsals with an almost complete stage and music. The sound system was awesome! had a bit of a problem with the Play button though. VERY SENSITIVE!
First few days of the stage show were kinda.. bumpy. =P
There were a few mis-pressed buttons, off-cues and technically difficult experiences (rephrased hahaha) though what more could anyone really expect from a production like this as instant as.. a cup of instant noodles! Put all the seasoning in Mix hot water Work it up for a good few minutes and Tada~! Awesome tasty noodles! As far as I've heard, it was really a huge rush to finish everything up for the big show, and it was truthfully all WORTH IT!! *ahem* Yet again I totally regret not joining in earlier from the start or I could've prevented all those nights of staying up and days of carrying extra bags under the eyes!
As long as the end result is worth all the work lah. Most importantly of course is that everyone involved acquires that unforgettable long living memory of an experience that can be treasured forever.. especially the Audience! What makes a stage production a success? I would say its how the whole production team (including the cast of course) gets to play around with the audience's feelings, how they slosh about the emotions of all the people sitting attentively in their chairs, manipulating their feelings to feel what the characters in the story feel, to make sure the audience get what they expect to get for their money's worth!
For my part in the play.. I've definitely got one of the most valuable work experiences in this lifetime so far, keeping in mind that my real interests have always been the very ones that you would most likely discover when being involved in theater and stage productions, and it has certainly showed me that I can really go where my curiosity brings me to. Unfortunately, of course there's always a BUT in my case.. how do I get back once again on this wonder of an opportunity to attempt what I've always wanted to have a go at. (If you didn't notice yet by this point I am probably quite sleepy, hence the long maybe pointless words written above)
The Cast and Production Crew did have very little time to complete everything and to try out the stage for full rehearsals like most other stage productions usually do. Even then, considering the outcome of the whole process. It is more of a gain than a complete loss. I've got to meet more interesting people which I never knew existed (I don't meet new people much) and to find out they don't really live thaaaat far away too haha goodness what have I been doing staying under a rock?!
What have I learned from all this? I guess one thing that has been further reinforced is mainly the one part that people say don't judge a book by its cover. Once if you get the chance to know people better and you patiently genuinely attempt to do so, you'll really really know the person so much more BETTER! ALSO I now know how to drive to KLPAC, some few locations nearby and how to go home from there! Ahh point being.. The Cup noodles were simply just Yummy. =)

Oops! Bread, Single Hearts and Dead Lizards.
Sigh. Valentines Day, can't say much about it.. and just to make myself feel better I'll rationalize.. that valentines Day has been thought to be for couples only, because most other people are just stingy. They would prefer to show their affection towards their one and only person in their lives. Think again what about other people? The ones that need that attention more than most other people in the world now. the homeless, needy children, orphaned, abandoned, and alone.
Yes, What A Thought.
Supposed to go out buy bread for breakfast tomorrow / later today. And at the same time I went out to have my supper because I missed dinner (Whoops) so I was getting ready at home and all.. And I suddenly noticed this lizard. dark brownish green colour thingy laying there near the TV. Looked kinda ugly so I tried to err. agitate the thing? It got shocked and jolted, turn around and ran away a lil bit. Then well guess it would go away eventually so I just left it there.
Went out to eat at AC was super starving already. Fried Mushrooms, Takoyaki, Satay! Then met up with a few played at the CC nearby.. Playing Half way.. Server lagging (aiyo) so ah we just paid went off to McD. From there went home at about 3am. On the way home I was like *Oh SHyt I didn't buy bread! Nevermind lah later go and buy in the morning* -Hours pass.. FB-ing.. cleaning up the profile..- Ah 5.30 already just got home from buying bread. (means I left this post hanging until now). Good Morning! XD

The Eve Of CNY
Nothing much happened for the day. Just waited and waited for the evening to come.
Yahooo! family reunion time! Got ready and all that, picked up my aunt on the way, and we just remembered that we forgot something..
My nephew's and niece's names!! Yup so all the way we were trying to get their names right. Sorry la we don't usually meet them much thats why can't really remember. We went to the Overseas restaurant at Jaya One in PJ.
The place was really awesome! Food there was super nice too! have to pay quite a sum for it of course they'll make sure its all nice and yummy. Service was great as well! the lady that was serving us was really efficient and I wonder why she had to change our plates and bowls every time a new dish was served. The person washing all of 'em must be like Foooh!
We got one of the private rooms and the cool thing about it is the room was numbered 2009! I Met with all my other uncles, aunts, and of course the cousins who are like older than me. Used to not talk much with them because of that age gap (explains the introverted-ness of me every time I meet my relatives). Now its waaay better la I guess like coz we go through the same stuff nowadays. It was all pleasant except for one hyper kid who didn't have enough sleep my nephew and lil niece who was trying to keep up with him. Eventually she got tired and she ended up on mommy's lap for the rest of the dinner.. and yes the lil dude was still running around hyper.
Overall dinner was really great we talked all sorts caught up with each other and everything. The restaurant even gave us some err.. stuff to take home a few boxes of egg rolls, beer cans, and wine! Few of us brought our own wine so I did something really N.B.T.D. thing with some wine and the Chinese tea. IF anyone of you don't know yet.. I'm not really into wine or any kind of alcoholic stuff so the wine was a lil too bitter for me. So I mixed a bit of both. =P
Dropped by one of my relative's house after dinner. Now everyone's a bit more relaxed and settle down.. Us youngsters get bombarded with the usual interrogation by our aunts and uncles. my nephew then took out his toys and played around.. including this bag of building blocks and he made stuff up. Haha! things lil kids do with their imagination. He made two robots which well, to most others looked not one bit like robots.
Then since i felt a lil N.B.T.D. again I took apart one of the bots he gave us and TADA~! made it into a space fighter ship thingy. Nephew saw it and he was like *mouth wide open.. well not too wide* took it then started playing with it. Now i'm amused. This is like "First Contact" with him coz considering the time I spend with my relatives is kinda like onCe in a bLue MooN, we got along together pretty well I'll say.
I offered to make a bigger one with him and he was like "OK" took apart the other bot and started expanding the one i already made. Really awesome to be able to bond with your nephews and niece I tell you now I know why some people just like children. Here's what we both came up with..
He took it up played around with it aww it was so cool! Then without even knowing it, he could separate parts of the whole thing into a helicopter, another mini ship, and a submarine. Ahh I soooo used to do that too when I was at that age. Super syok-ed with the whole masterpiece, next he asked if I could make another one like the one from Ultraman Dyna. Was kinda rusty with all that past kiddie knowledge of mine so I err.. Taught him how to make paper aeroplanes instead. =D

Before we went home it was already past 12 midnight so we got Our Red Packets! Said bye bye to everyone. And so after the Eve of CNY.. GONG XI FA CAI!

Just A Thought.. Thoughts
Ahh Sunday Morning! Its really been a long.. long while since I got to wake up with this really nice feeling of the "tidak-apa attitude" ; care-free with nothing much to worry about for the rest of the day. Daily routine's still the same though haha! Go straight to the fridge, scavenge for food or bits of edibles, turn the TV on, turn on the desktop, look for the papers.. *Flip Flip*
Turn a few sections and pages. So yea its happening i guess.
Its mandatory for all passengers in vehicles to wear seatbelts by the 1st of January 2009. Exemptions for vehicles registered before the 1st of January 1995.
IMAGINE the different possible outcomes! There are waaaay too many others but these are what came to my mind in an instant..
A) IF people stayed on with Private Vehicles.
- Most personal vehicles can accomodate 1 driver + 4 other passengers so in turn..
- More vehicles would be on the road to have 5 persons each, creating Humungous Traffic Jams, which makes everyone even MORE frustrated!
- Gotta make our roads and highways more efficient then.
- People might.. fit in more seatbelts in one Vehicle! The reason being they prefer personal vehicles to public transportation. Silly but.. Imagine~
- Maybe promotions for SUVs or MiniVans should be done all-out and made more affordable to own.
- Whats the use of getting a sports car, fast high-powered vehicle
- Any how, Petrol/Fuel companies would earn tons, tons more.
B) IF People use Public Transport more frequently.
- There would be 'Human Jams' at Bus and Taxi stops, KTM/LRT/Monorail stations IF the current state of our mass transit system isn't improved AFAP.
- More Deodorant, Perfume would be needed! Why? B.O.
- Less Air Polution! (well just from the cars on the road anyway. B.O. problem might stay) We would have clearer roads because of less vehicles on the road as people start to believe in Public Transport more.
- The cost of fares would drop (If they are reasonable and considerate companies) OR it might go 180 degrees the other way around. Hmm~
